Pacific Northwest Solar, LLC (PNW Solar) has acquired the development assets associated with a proposed 10-megawatt (MW-AC) Solar Power Project in Oregon from an undisclosed company (the identity of the seller is confidential at this stage).
The project will be built in the Portland General Electric service territory and has an executed a 20-year power purchase (PPA) with PGE under the the 2015 PURPA Schedule 201, which includes energy generations and associated renewable energy credits (RECs). Construction of the project is expected to begin in late 2017 and be in service by mid-2018.
With this addition, PNW Solar continues to grow its portfolio of solar development assets in the Pacific Northwest as well as other key markets across the country.
